We spilled some hot oil over the touch screen buttons on our ge profile stove (some in the control board too), the buttons stopped working (except for the start button) I pulled the glass apart and they started working again but as soon as i get the glass panel to within 1/2 inch of the control board screen it stops working, I now have it working with some pieces of cork acting as a spacer and all the buttons and panel are fine. I checked all the wiring harnesses and they are fine, as long as I keep the glass pad away i can move it around and it works fine (not a connection issue). Im completely stomped on this one, can anyone help?
