Ice machine control panel has locked to ON position. When I press ON button to turn off machine, nothing happens and machine remains on, therefore I cannot run diagnostics. When I unplug and plug in machine, water fills the bin, and bin empties and then fills again...no water pumped to ice tray. I looked at recirc pump and impeller is OK. I replaced the control panel and same thing happens.

Do you think the evaporator thermistor is the culprit ?
