Hello.
I have a Frigidaire Washer (Model # FTF530ES1). The timer will not advance automatically through each of the 5 cycles. I have to manually turn the dial to the each of the next cycle positions in order for the cycle to take place. The cycle will complete with this method, and the dial seems to advance slightly through the cycle, just not to the next.

Some research on the internet shows that some techs. suggest the timer, others suggest the the 'door lock and switch assembly', and finally another suggests the 'speed control board'. The latter, I am not even able to find a like part in the parts lists. Though I did find a "Controller"

What is the most likely culprit?

Thanks,

Robert
