the joint you soldered was a common problem on bosch boards. they have since fixed the problem. the joint you soldered was a post on the relay that sends power to the heater. i solder the joints just to get the customer by on a temp. basis. the 1 in the display is a heat fault code. replace the damaged board.

Dishwasher,

Make: Bosch

Model: SHU6802UC/U12

Problem: Initial symptoms, dishwasher would run but not gethot enough. (When opening door could feel some heat, but not billows of steamas before). Looked at circuit board andfound a loose/ bad solder point at relay. (which showed signs of arcing). Repaired solder point and it ran a few cyclesokay. (However, it still didn’t seem to get as hot as it used to be). Newsymptom(s): washer will run a full cycle(water still not that hot), but the cycle continues to run for hours withoutstopping. Specifically, the Cycle startsout normally, and counts down. Then the Displayshows 1 minute left on cycle time, as it continually runs for hours. Wouldreplacing circuit board fix problem?
