In regular cycle, after agitation stops, does the timer continue to advance on it's own? If it does as it should, you probably have a faulty timer. If it does not advance, it could still be the timer but might be the lid switch.

I have an Inglis washer Model # IJ42001 which works fine until the rinse cycle. Then it will not drain and rinse or spin. I can turn it to a different cycle, like the gentle cycle to get it to work sometimes but takes a lot of playing around with it. What does it need for repair? Thanks.
