You could have a problem with the water valve behind the machine. To check the valve, disconnect the two water lines, ice maker and water dispenser lines. Disconnect the two wire connectors. Use a cheater cord to energize each coil with 120 VAC (hold it over a pail). See if the valve is working correctly

:confused:amana ice maker cycles but just fills with a little water also water on door used to work all the time now just when it wants to usually after an ice cycle i now fill maker by hand. i also replaced maker with another identical one but was used and worker
