Need to pull out oven from wall cabinet, but counter top overlaps front edge of control panel by 1/4". Can't slide out oven. Taking off the bezel front panel and surounding alluminum metal frame seems like a solution to get the clearance I need.

However, the 8 timer control push buttons are very hard to remove. Child proof and adult proof I'd say... but I don't want to break them off. They are preventing the glass front panel over the timer and across the front from being removed. I have the temp knob off and the oven light button bezel off. My fingers are sore from trying all kinds of twist, push, pull, jerk movements. No Luck.

Anyone know the trick to getting these off without breaking them?

Thanks,
Brian
