You are wellcome.

The part arrived today and after installing the new start relay the refrigerator started generating cold air. Thanks again for your help.

Sounds good. I've already ordered the part and hopefully this will resolve the issue. I'll let you know how it goes.

This site shows part # 8201769. Before ordering, note which colored wires go to which pins on the device and try to measure the resistance of the compressor windings, the resistance from the top, or bottom terminal to either side by side terminals should be between 3 and 6 ohms.

When i disassembled it the inside components were all crumbled, so i'm guessing the start device went bad? If i were to get a new start device it would be this part right: http://www.appliancepartspros.c...e-8201769-ap3961332.html

I'm having an issue with my 10+ year old refrigerator where its running but its not getting cold. I did a little research to see what the problem might be at stumbled upon this page: http://www.justanswer.com/appli...ing-appears-running.htmlThis is almost the exact situation I have. I tried removing the back panel and taking a look at the compressor. I dont think its running but i could be wrong. When i put my hand on it I felt a slight vibration, no heat. But when i removed the power cable from the nearby cooling fan and then put my hand on the compressor I felt no vibration, so I'm guessing that the compressor or the relay is bad. Any help is appreciated. Attached are some pictures I took of the compressor this morning.
