Remove the front panel and rotate the motor pulley by hand clockwise (viewed from below). Use two hands as you must keep the pulley going in order for the brake on the transmission to stay released. The motor pulley, belt, main drive pulley, transmission and basket should all rotate fairly easily. If it's difficult, there may be clothing stuck between the tubs or a problem with the brake release on the bottom of the transmission. If it does rotate fairly easily, run it in spin mode while observing the motor pulley and the clip on the bottom of the motor shaft. If the clip is spinning but the pulley is not, then the clutch is slipping.

This washer will fill agigate and rinse fill but will not spin it pumps the water out and if i push down the lid switch and turn the drum counter clock wise it tries to spin this way as if the clutch is bad or there maybe a transmission problem i am unable to tell between the two exactly which one is the cause
