the washer fills but it does not agitate or spin or drain at all. and the motor plastic which holds the belt broke off.:confused:

Check the plastic tranny pulley, might have a burnt spot.
If ok, check the motor mount rollers and clean if necessary, they might be sticking and preventing proper tension on the belt.

There is no adjustment that i know of, what i have noticed is that like everything else these days these belts are made of cheaper quality material compared to the older maytag washers the ones that use two belts so if your machine is used a lot you can just buy another two or three belts and keep as spares.
