Vheitz, you're going to need to check for proper voltage to the dishwasher at the junction box on the lower frame, behind the kick plate. and also check the wiring harness connections at the timer and the selector switch. If you have a frayed wire, or loose connection on the terminals, the voltage could be low and intermittent, causing the lights to not illuminate and not enough voltage to oprate the heater element.
