The ice maker in our kitchen aid icemaker stopped working. The refrigerator model number is KSRG25FKSS16. The refrigerator is approx. 6 years old. I notice the Red LED is flashing when I open the door and when I hold the flap down, the Red LEd is on constantly.

I have verified the water line is not froze up. The water filter light is green and I changed the filter about 6 months ago. I also have a whole house water filter for the house and it has recently been changed. I notice there is a slight amount of frozen water in the pan. I can't seem to tell if there is water turning on to fill the pan. I could use a little direction as to what to check first.
