Unplug the microwave. Open the control panel and remove the red and white wires from the transformer primary winding. Plug trhe microwave back and check for 120 VAC between these wires while the control calls for heat and the door is closed.

If the reading is incorrect, replace the smart board.

If the reading is correct, then most likely the problem is a bad magnetron.

Replaced top switch and everything works except it will not heat. What is wrong now?

Check the secondary interlock switch (the top switch) for continuity and inspect the wires connected to the switch.

After replacing the cavity thermostat the clock , fan, and lights worked. When you try to time cook or use the express buttons, the timer counts down but no heating. Is there another thermostat to replace.
