Hi.

Take the bottom cover and oven baffle out and watch the burner ignition process. If the ignitor is not strong the gas will open very slowly and some of it will escape before igniting.
You can check the amps draw using an amp meter. Should be
3.25amp or more.

I have an Amana gas stove. There is no smell until I use the oven then you can smell the LP gas. If I turn gas valve off and let it sit a while and then turn it back on everything smells ok until I go to use my oven again. I dont know what to look for, I got in the oven with a lighter to see if there is gas coming out anywhere but nothing. It driving me crazy.
