Most likely the problem is a bad membrane switch. You can order it but this part is on back order with no specified ETA. Another option is to order the complete control assembly which consists of the membrane switch and the control board. APP has it in stock and you can have it in couple days. The difference in price is about $50 but it will make your repair more reliable and you would not have to wait for the membrane switch.

In regards of difficulty: on a scale of 1 to 10, I would say it's about 6. If you know how to use a simple tools and common sense then it should not be too difficult. Unfortunately I could not find the Service manual for this model but looking at the diagram, it should be access from the back or by removing the top trim and side caps.

On my gas oven the only touch button that works is bake and the timer. All the numbers to enter the degrees do not work, broil or any of the special buttons do not work (ie pizza, etc). Is the problem the control panel with membrane? If I order one of those how easy is it to replace? And will this definitely fix the problem? What is the degree of difficulty in changing this out? Please help! I need a working oven for the holidays!
