This is a GE Profile with bottom freezer. I installed the new motherboard. Regarding Step 2 of instructions for the 9 Pin J1 connector, I did not have to clip the white wire since 3 white wires went into Pins 1, 3 and 4 ...and 3 black wires went into Pins 5, 7 and 9. Pin 2 is vacant (unused). Also regarding Step 4, I did not have to cut the green wire since mine does not have a capacitor.

When I plugged the refrigerator in the condenser fan went on - great. The front board inside went on. Says 78. When I set it, it accepts momentarily the 0 degrees for the freezer and 37 for the upper part...then goes back to 78 degrees...and NO COOLING effect happens. All interior fans work fine.

Do I now need to change out the relay and overload....? How do I recognize when the condensor is gone? Where do I go from here? Thanks!
