I am having same problem, I have replaced defrost heater 3 times then it iced up again, repairman checked heater and thermostat and told me I needed a new control panel, tried 2 brand new ones and still coils freezing up. Its not getting any power to heater?

Freezer frosted up - won't defrost.
Replaced defrost thermistat, defrost heater, motherboard (twice).
Checked Evaporater Thermister - 16K ohms.
Jumped the defrost to line on blue plug - works fine.
What am I missing?
