Hi.

Look inside the oven in the upper right or left corner to locate the sensor.
The control board will not function if it detected bad sensor.
Unfortunately we have only limited access to the Kenmore look ups (as everybody ells).

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you.

Simon.

On my Kenmore oven, where do I find the temp. sensor? Will a malfunctioning oven temp. sensor keep the oven from coming on at all?
Also, I can't find my Oven model number in your parts department

Hi.

The F2 code means the over temperature condition.

Check the temp. sensor and wire harness to the control board.
The sensor resistance at room temperature is around 1100 ohm.

The sensor Part number: WB21X5301
Part number: WB21X5301

Thank you.

Simon.

I have a Kenmore double oven, the lower unit works fine but the upper does not even come on in oven or broiler mode, error code F-2 just comes on and the oven never comes on. the Lower unit is operated by knobs, but the upper unit is operated by buttons and a control panel.
