Had a small piece of plastic make it through the filter and get caught up in the impeller, and made a terrible noise. I removed the assembly and got the piece out, put everything back and it worked fine.
For about 5 loads.
Then the water wouldn't drain. I checked the drain line and check valve by siphoning the water out. Took everything back out and checked for problems. Found none, then put it all back together again.
Washer worked for three loads, then stopped draining.
When it doesn't drain, I don't even hear a motor going. When it does drain, it seems like the motor runs for a longer time after water stops being pumped out.

Seems like a switch or something, but why would it work again after re-assembly?

Suggestions on what to do/replace?
