Thank you so much for the help. It was just that the sensing bulb wasn't in the right place. You saved me so much money I couldn't be more thankful

Hi.

Check if the safety gas valve's sensing bulb is placed in the flame all the way.If not - adjust.
Check if the pilot holes in the burner are not clogged. Clean if needed.
If everything looks OK - replace the safety gas valve

I have a tappen oven model number MPF311SGDD. The oven pilot is lit and when I turn on the oven the secondary pilot lights but the oven itself won't light. It worked last night and today when we got home from work the smell of gas was very strong from oven. range top works just fine. i have the gas shut off now. What part could it be?
