Hello,

I am looking for some help on why the lower arm on my GE dishwasher (PDWT500VBB) is not spinning (spins free by hand). Upper arm seems to clean pretty well. After reading through some posts this morning I have a couple of things to try but before I start working on it I wanted to see if there is anything I forgot on my "must-test" list. Unit drains fine at end of cycle. Lower arm looks like it connects properly to supply at back of tub.

Here is what I am planning to do.
Check water pressure by verifying fill level in unit. What is appropriate level? Just below heating element? I have well water and am dealing with a pressure switch that is slow to respond so there are times where the house pressure will drop to 10-20 PSI for a couple of minutes before it recovers.

Check/clean all ports on lower arm. How do I remove arm?

What screens do I need to check?

Is there a repair manual that will show me where items are I need to look at.

This unit has a wash top-rack only option. Is there a way to do a reset on the washer to make sure it is not stuck on top-rack wash?

Thanks for any insight on my problem.
