In my opinion microwaves are best left to the pros unless you have some electrical or electronics training experience.

You are messing with high voltage, in other words it can kill you.
Or at the very least give you a nasty voltage burn.

Also without a wiring diagram you will just be taking shots in the dark.
It is a GE so unless you have the diagram it will be difficult to get.
GE likes to keep all tech info a secret but you may get lucky on the net by searching the model number.

You have 2 problems that happened at the same time so it will be something common to both the table motor and the magnetron or it's control probably something in the power supply but cannot say for sure without a wiring diagram.

my microwave won't heat food and the turntable wont spin. Every thing else such as such as the fan, lights,timer and control pad works. Please help!
