I'm not sure how the lid switch works, but this washer is designed to only agitate or spin if the lid is closed - it will fill, but not continue with anything else until the lid is closed. At this time, it does agitate for the wash cycle with the lid closed, but when that ends, it justs sits there full of water. It will not drain or spin. There is a humming sound when I set to a Quick Rinse or Spin Only cycle. Could that still be the lid switch?

Hi,

Sounds like a faulty lid switch, Part number: WH12X10141
