What is the door cam kit for the Whirlpool Gold GS5SHAXNL00? I have rebalanced the refrigerator and installed a new gasket, I think this is the problem.

Thank you for the prompt response. I took a look under the door and it looks like you are exactly right. Thanks!

Hi.

Based on the information you provided it's a broken door closer.
It's located at the bottom of the door. Part of it attached to the hinge, part to the door.
Recommend to get the kit Part number: 4318165
Part number: 4318165

You will have to remove the door. Take out screws on the top, lift the door of the hinges, replace both cams and reinstall the door.
After the installation you may need to adjust the door using top bracket.

I have a side-by-side Whirlpool Gold refrigerator. It was manufactured 03/02. We purchased it in August 2002 so it is almost 10 years old. The refrigerator door will not stay closed. I often find it open about one inch and the food inside dangerously warm. I've been keeping a close eye on it and notice that closing the freezer door causes the refrigerator door to pop open (just about one inch but that is enough to let out the cold air). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
