That's a 16 11 157 Thermador microwave I'm replacing.

Replaced the magnetron and the unit condition remains the same.

Time for a new microwave. The GE JEB1860SMSS has the same dimensions
as the Thermador model 11 15 157 microwave.

Thanks for the help

Mike

Hi.

The microwave you have is using an inverter power board, which is no longer available.
The chance that it's the magnetron is 50/50.
Try to replace it. If it will work - you are lucky.
The good think that you can return any parts even if they been installed.

The magnetron Part number: 487757

It is a Thermador SMW272P oven.

The microwave is built into the unit and upon further inspection its magnetron is a Panasonic 2M261-M32

Thanks

Mike

Hi.

Yes, the magnetron may lose the power over the time.

Please provide the complete model number.

Thank you.

I have a Thermador model smw272 with a built in microwave

It does not heat well. It is losing the ability to heat food at the same rate that is has in the past.

I tested the temp rise with 32oz of water and the temp rose 12 degrees in one min on high power.

Do the magnetrons lose power over time or do I have another issue.

Thanks for the help

Mike
