Pull cover off the motherboard in the back of fridge. Remove the four pin power connector, note which pins on the board are labled "line and defr." Put a jumper between the matting pins on the connector. Plug in fridg and verify the unit is defrosting. If not, you have a bad defrost heater or thermostat.
If it defrosts, since you allready replaced the motherboard, replace the evaporator thermister, clipped to the top of the evaporator.

Freezer is freezing up. you Defrost it, last couple of days then back at it again. changed thermostat, censer,mother board and put in defrost element, snapped element and keeps freezing up. i have been at this all summer:confused:
