James, the flashing "clean" light, indicates an issue with the heater circuit or heating the water. Most often it's due to a low water temperature. The water temperature in the tub on the first fill of a wash cycle needs to be at least120 dgr.F. Try this : reset the control board by programming the "diagnostic cycle :
"NOTE 1. To invoke the Diagnostics Cycle, perform the following key presses in less than 6 seconds while in standby:
Heated Dry ➙ Normal ➙ Heated Dry ➙ Norma Allow the dishwasher to run the complete cycle. Run the hot water faucet at the kitchen sink, to flush any cold water from the line, then start the dishwasher and let it fill and start to wash, open the door and put a thermometer in the water and check the temperature, it needs to be 120 dgs.F. The dishwasher will run one cycle and reset the control parameters, if there is still an issue, the next cycle will fault and the "clean" light will blink, and you'll need to test the resistance of the heater element, the wiring and the thermostat with a multimeter, and replace the appropriate part.

Thanks and Good Luck,
