	Hello. There is two part scenario. Bad agitator base or bad transmission. Take the agitator off and see if the transmission shaft is turning. If it does - replace the agitator base. The splines inside the base are stripped and there is no grip. The agitator base Part number: AP2906554 If not - replace The transmission Part number: AP3096209 Her are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Roper RTW4440VQ2 AUTOMATIC WASHER \| AppliancePartsPros.com Good luck.
