Hi.
At the end there is bronze color orifice. Using a pin clean the opening. That may help. The good thing is you can return any unused parts purchased from APP.
Good luck. Post the results.

Hi Simon, Thank-you for the quick response. Is there a way clean up that gas valve? I hate to spend any more money especialy after I already replaced the coils and the igniter. Thanks again! Jacques

Hi,
I replaced the igniter and I replaced the 2 solenoid coil. I checked the thermal fuse, the heat sensor as well as the cycling sensor. They all checked fine for continuity. This is what is happening: I start the dryer and everything looks fine and running. The igniter get's to be bright/white/orange for about 20 to 30 seconds and then fade out but not lighting up the gas (that's why I replaced the coils in the first place thinking that they were defective) Since I tried a few time and could smell the gas i held a long gas lighter on the side of the burner (on the other side of the igniter) and the burner lights up once the igniter is almost all faded out. the flame is powerful and blue. The dryer exhaust is clean and everything else seems fine. I am at a lost of the problem is. Why would the coils not being in sync with the igniter? Please help! Thank-you.
