No special parts are needed.

If the ice dispenser in the freezer door is not broken then nothing else is needed.

first of all, thank you for the previous info. i have installed the ice maker and water inlet valve.

i purchased the ice bucket auger assy but it did not include the auger motor, solenoid arm assy nor any mounting hardware for any of these three items (including the bucket).

does the auger bucket sit on shelves or mount some other way?

what parts are needed for mounting and is there a kit part number that includes all of these items, including mounting hardware for all?

what part is needed, if any, to get ice from auger bucket to door dispense opening? fridge has dispenser unit in freezer door.

thanks again, i really appreciate your time.

I Bought A Used Ge Refrigerator (model Tfx26crda Ww) That Originally Came With An Ice Maker But Had Been At Least Partially Removed Prior To Me Buying It. I Am Trying To Figure Out Where I Can Buy All The Parts I Need And If I Can Buy A Complete Kit With Everything Included To Make Like New. I Have Been Looking And Have Found An Ice Maker And Bucket/auger Which I Could Buy Seperately. How Does Ice Get From Ice Maker To Door Dispenser Opening? What Other Parts Are Needed To Accomplish This? Is There Anything Else I Need Or Am Not Thinking About?
