Is there a way to narrow it down. For several days before it stopped working, I kept hearing a clicking noise coming from the freezer. The Compressor light on the front of the freezer also stayed on all of the time, where before it would turn on and of.

It can be a bad thermostat, a bad defrost timer, a bad compressor or a bad starting device. Unfortunately there is no technical information available for this model.

I have a magic chef freezer that is only one year old and it started to thaw all of my food. I have no idea how to figure out what could be wrong with it. It is just out of the 1 year warranty. Can anyone help?
