Did you ever find the problem with your Amana microwave spreader not turning? I have the same problem but have not figured it out either.

The microwave works but heats unevenly.
The stirrer in the top of the oven compartment does not turn.
I took out the stirrer/antenna and cleaned it's bearings.
They are a plastic bushing with two plastic washers. They seem ok but the stirrer still does not turn.
There is air flow out the front of the oven so the blower is turning. I put a drop of oil in the blower motor bearings.
Could there be a blockage in air flow ?
