If you are going to seal it from inside of the inner door panel then you can use any kind of sealant. If you are going to use it from inside of the dishwasher then it should be a food safe sealant. I'm not sure what to recommend.

Thanks fro the response. What is safe to use to seal the gasket? The sealant would be used on the seam between the gasket and inner door. It still leaks a little so I guess that the inner door is bent and i cannot get a perfect seal.

Usually it does not need any sealant unless you bend the inner door. Any kind of sealant can affect the locking tabs on the dispenser.

I replaced the soap dispenser in my Bosch dishwasher model # SHU3032UC. It works fine but the dispenser leaks water around the gasket. Is there a sealant or adhesive that is safe to use that will seal the gasket from the inside of the dishwasher?
