Take off the front cover by inserting a screw driver in the gap between the top and the front near the edges to release clips that hold the front panel on.

Then operate the machine and observe what happens during the spin cycle. If the motor is turning then the brakes, which are inside the transmission may be a problem or the transmission may be the problem.

If the motor is not turning the control unit may be the issue. Try it is different cycles and see what happens.

The machine is a GE it fills and washes but is not doing the spining cycle and does not drain. What could be the cause of this and how can it be repaired?
