Sorry about the brand mix-up it is a whirlpool, I spoke with someone at the local appliance shop and he said I sould check the thermal fuse or it could be the circuit board. Pay day is just around the corner so it sounds like I'm calling a repairman.

Sorry, I was thinking of a range (oven and cooktop in one appliance) rather than a built-in oven.

Someone should still actually confirm 240 volts is getting to the appliance. According to the wiring diagram there is nothing in the oven that should prevent both element from functioning at the same time. There does look to be some kind of fuse in series with the broil element but if failed shouldn't affect the bake.

That just leaves a problem with the main power supply or maybe the electronic control.

BTW. The model number you posted RBS305PDQ6 is for a Whirlpool brand product not GE.

Oven and broiler will no longer heat after the self-cleaning option was used. Clock, timer, oven light baking temp selections still function. Breakers were checked. any idea's thanks
