Replace the ice maker

I've turned off the ice maker and the freezer works fine, so it's the ice maker.

The heater on the bottom of the ice maker maybe staying on to long or the defrost heater for the freezer is staying on to long.

My ice maker makes ice but then it all starts to melt. The first shelf below the ice maker begins to unfreeze, but The rest of the freezer is fine, the ice maker drips down and then the water freezes down the side of the wall. Is it the temp sensor?
