Well here's what I would do
1. Use a meter to make certain you have 120 volts to each end of the wires on the connection block.
Then unplug the machine and
2. Open the back and test the thermal fuse (likely problem) and the other fuses/thermostats for continuity.
3. Check the heating element for continuity, and resistance and make certain it is not broken or grounded.
4. Test the door switch. Take out the lint screen and unscrew the two screws in the lint screen area. The top will then pop up to give you access to the door switch.
The probability that this will find your problem is over 90%.
