Remove bottom grill. Locate water line to door on left side. Put towel down under 5/16" John Guess fitting and disconnect by pressing in on collar. close door and try water. If water dispenses below, the line is frozen in door. If no water dispenses there. then check temperature in refrigerator if things are freezing behind crispers the water holding tank may also be frozen. in either case temperature adjustment would help. Did your water dispensor dispense 5oz. in 5 seconds before it failed if not replacing the saddle valve with 1/4" inlet mat rectify that issue.

I recently replaced the water inlet valve because the water going to the icemaker would not shut off. All worked well (both icemaker and door water dispenser) for 60 days. Now the water dispenser has stopped working. I can hear the power activate when the water dispenser lever is pressed, but no water is dispensed. Is this due to a bad microswitch (part # AP3131893)? That looks like it could be difficult to get to....getting the faceplate off without damage appears problematic.

I've also been told the problem may be a blockage. Anyone know how to determine whether it is a blockage....how to test for that? And how to fix it?

Many thanks.
