Go ahead and order a control unit from this site (those of us who respond are not associated with APP parts operations, we are volunteers).

If the part does not fix the problem you can return it, see the returns policy for details and conditions (of which there are few). Is that a great deal or what!

Washer won't start. Shows fault code Fdl (for the door lock). I installed new door lock switch assembly but shows same fault. I unplugged machine and plugged back in, it show F14 (EEPM...something to do with CCU)when I press and hold start button. I press cancel and that fault goes away but I still get the fault code Fdl. I have checked all wires and connections to the CCU but still have not pinpointed problem. Before I purchase a CCU I want to make sure that's the problem... It's pretty expensive. Thanks for any help!
