How cold is the freezer?
It suppose to be about zero degrees for the ice maker. Just a few degrees warmer will cause the ice maker to slow down.
The best thing is to measure the temperature, using a refrigerator thermometer.

The first thing I would check is the drain under the evaporator coil in the freezer for clog.

What is the temperature in the freezer?

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of the fridge.

side by side that makes ice very slowly and puddles water intermittantly underneath on freezer side. any ideas on how to fix this problem?
