Do I understand you correctly that the pump does not run?
Or
Does it only come on sometimes?
Does it make any noise?

The pump is also controlled by the timer.
Is starting to sound like a timer problem.

Solenoid plunger works OK manually. Tried holding the plunger down while timer knob was turned slowly thru its entire range. Did not hear pump come on or water flow into the connecting sink.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for General Electric GSD2230Z02WW Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.com

Does the wash/drain solenoid pull down?

It may be hard to find the voltage as it is only there for a couple seconds.
The way it works is that the timer supplies voltage to the solenoid for a couple seconds, the solenoid plunger is pulled down into the drain position and the flapper valve is then in the drain position.
The water pressure then keeps then keeps the flapper in drain till the unit is empty and then the springs pull it back to the wash position.

If the timer provides voltage to the solenoid for too long it will overheat and melt the internal plastic ruining the solenoid.

Try getting the solenoid into the drain position manually.

If you are sure there is no power ever to the solenoid, then it is probably a timer problem.

Will not pump out residual water during wash/rinse cycles. Drain solenoid tests 34.3 ohms (not open circuit - OL). Wires to solenoid do not read 120volts when timer knob is slowly turned through entire range. Wires to solenoid lead to the timer box. Any suggestions.
