I have determined I need to replace the drain pump, part # AP2802385 and need to know the procedure that I need to follow in order to do this. I know I have to take the Dishwasher out from base cabinet area by disconnecting the water supply line (copper) and the electrical contacts, but isn't there a drain hose to be conscious of and not kink. After I get it out I assume the drain pump must be installed from the bottom of the unit by removing the old one and installing the new one. Is this thinking correct? Please provide me with a step by step procedure to do this. I have had a technician look at the unit, but he wants over $400 to do this work and I think his price is too excessive. Please help. The part is only $66.16. Contact me at billlane501@comcast.net

Thanks, Bill Lane
