Exact same problem I had. Check the terminal connections at the cabinet overload, mine melted. With this being an open circuit NOTHING would work, no display, no light. It it located by the light in the top of cabinet, access by removing outer skin of cabinet and under metal cover.

Maytag MMC5000ADW died. No light, no panel, like it was unplugged.
The fuse is good and voltage is 120 on each side of fuse.
