Ice maker is not even 2 yrs. old, had trouble with it ever since. Makes a lot of clicking sounds and stops making ice, unplug it and wait overnight, replug it, and it works fine for a few weeks. Called the Kitchenaid people, they were kind enough to send a part free of chart, I think it was some kind of relay switch. We had to pay the labor, but I was thankful for that. Now, not even 7 months later, it's doing the same thing except now it's completely out. You can unplug it and wait overnight, plug it in and the motor makes a sound for a few seconds and then goes off, the light doesn't even come on. I am besides myself, I have a lot of kitchen aid appliances and have never had a lick of trouble with them. I tried calling the company back, but now they don't want to do anything. So much for standing behind your product.
