if you know how to handle a simple tools than it's not going to be very difficult project. Remove all screws holding the inner door panel, remove the panel and you'll see what to do next.

Gene: I have ordered the part. Is this something I could replace myself or should I call a repair person?

Most likely the problem is a stuck key pad on the console. If you need the correct part number post the color of the console and complete model number of the dishwasher (4 more letters and 1 digit).

The dishwasher runs but the panel's "normal" light and "cancel" light continue to flash and if the door is not opened, the cycle will start up all over again.

Any advice on what part I should order to repair this problem? Thank you.
