Make sure the arm is making the switch to start the ice maker. You may can see it by taking the plastic end cover off.

Manually fill the ice mold and see it it starts the cycle when it freezes and dumps the ice.

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear

I have a Whirpool side by side model #ED5JHGXRQ00 which does not make ice anymore. This is in a recreational rental property in which we instruct our guest when they leave to move the bar to the off position. When putting the bar into the on position, it does not fill up with water? What could be the problem?
