Long story short -The touch control panel (touch pad) on my Maytag LSG 1000 got wet and "all" buttons displayed RED and code -18. After that, the touch pad would not work, neither washer or dryer programs (stackable washer/gas dryer combo). After several days, ONLY the soak only and rinse cycle in the washer programs will work. I ordered a new circuit board (Control assembly) Part Number: AP4042232 but part # WPL 33001048 is what is listed on the packing slip.
When I installed the new circuit board, nothing works, no functions at all. I put my old one back on and it still functions on the two cycles but no dryer functions at all. Any suggestions? Did I order and receive the correct part? Do you think I need to replace the control panel also? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!! Thank You. :confused:
