Sorry, but if it goes completely through a cycle then it is not the lid switch or anything mechanical. It is very likely the timer.

Trying to decide whether to get my 16yr washer fixed or buy new. Trying to narrow down what parts are need to try and fix. I really can't purchase new right now. But if fixing it is going to be over $200 I might.

My washer will only wash completly in DELICATE cycle.
In REGULAR Cylce it runs the water in, the timer still ticking (running) but does not aggitate, then if I dont stop it one time I realized it did spin, but mostly I have been stoping it and turn the dial to DELICATE to get aggitation.

Been told it may be the timer, which is more expensive part. or lid switch which is a cheaper part.

What do you think? any help greatly appreciated!
Felicia:)
