Most probably a bad clutch and brake shoes. Go to my sticky, "replacing direct drive washer brake shoes" for info on this.

Having final spin issues. Most of the time it works but once in awhile the clothes will be wet. Seems to run thru cycle but then clothes wet. If I set back the timer to final spin spot it will run back thru spin and seems to work ok (however doesn't seem to run fully thru and clothes are still semi wet).
Today clothes were laying in bottom of washer (hadn't spun). Set it back to spin and could hear it running but wasn't spinnning. Tried that several times and no spin. Finally reset to 2nd rinse where washer filled and ran thru the cycle just fine.

What do you think????
