Sorry but I do not understand most of your question.

Also the parts and the wiring diagram both show an adaptive defrost board not a defrost timer so I am not sure I ave the correct info.

Try forcing a defrost cycle (see the wiring diagram), that should clear the frost.

If the defrost heater does not come on then your problem may be elsewhere, either the heater itself of the defrost thermostat.

hi i bought the defrost timer...put it in last night still have frost this mornig..just wondering if i was suppose to do dark blue wire with dark blue..the on that was on there was a brown wire ad orange!???
